Into the Storm by jeshannon Into the Storm by jeshannon
Quick speed painting, supposed to be a couple of hours but its me so was 4 days as painting the sea is a total nightmare,

Good practice though only using one kind of brush and a couple layers, very much inspired by my fave Tolkien artists John Howe and Ted Nasmith.

Cheers

Very beautiful, and the inspiration is definitely visible! I love the clarity and realism of this, it hardly looks like a digital painting.

John,
To my eye, at least, it was well worth the effort. The wind and waves are beautifully done.
